*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and restoring various surfaces in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools. You will work on construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
* Assist in the renovation of spaces by performing drywall installation and trim carpentry as needed.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
* Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in commercial painting or related fields is preferred.
* Familiarity with drywall installation and trim carpentry is a plus.
* Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
* Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
