Part-Time Dentist

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice, part time. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, proficiency in various dental procedures, and adherence to best practices in a clinical setting.

*Responsibilities*

* Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
* Execute a variety of dental procedures including dental extractions, fillings, crowns, and preventive care.
* Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
* Document patient medical histories and treatment plans accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Interpret medical imaging results to diagnose conditions effectively.
* Provide patient education on oral health practices and treatment options.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
* Manage pediatric patients with a focus on creating a comfortable experience.

*Qualifications*

* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state dental license with no restrictions.
* Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is preferred.
* Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
* Experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Pay: $100.00 - $600.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
