Patient Assistant Program Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSABILITIES:
The Patient Assistance Program Supervisor will support program goals, collaborate with key stakeholders and be accountable for the day to day activities of the Patient Assistance Program. Main objective of the unit is to ensure that qualified patients can obtain economic assistance for their medical costs. Accordingly, team members must analyze cases thoroughly and identify economic assistance programs (foundations, co-pay cards, others) that can cover all or a portion of the patient’s co-pay. Also, in lieu of any external assistance, the PAP team must evaluate payment plan options.
REQUIREMENTS:
1 year of previous supervisory experience is required.
Prior experience as Pharmacy Technician, social worker or patient advocate is preferred;
Knowledge of PBM operations is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish is required.
High School Diploma Required;
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field is preferred;

Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred;
