Physical Therapy Assistant

*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team.? This role is essential in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical function.

*Duties*
* Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
* Provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
* Monitor patient progress and report changes.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with facility policies.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

*Qualifications*
* Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
* Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
* Skills in trigger point therapy and other therapeutic techniques are advantageous.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
