Planning Associate - Permanent Position

Descripción del Empleo:
Work with the Project Manager and the rest of the Planning team to understand needs throughout the planning portfolio, and possibly programmatic areas, and support development of solutions. These could include development of program guidelines and standard operating procedures, doing reporting, record keeping, data collection or data management activities. There may also be a need for specialized skill sets of information management that would be used to support a broad portfolio of programs, including planning and economic development programs. These knowledge bases could include GIS, database management, web platforms, local codes and ordinances, local permitting processes, and municipal planning processes. Support to Project Manager across program needs. Development of SOPs, program guidelines. Reporting, record keeping, data collection, data management.
Requisitos:
Time Management, detail-oriented, results-driven, critical thinker, planning background preferred, intermediate or better knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new technologies, active listener, strong writing skills; GIS skills preferred For GIS specific roles, GIS, informatics, geography, planning, or related. Someone with ability to communicate complex information. Knowledge or experience with building codes, local code enforcement, planning, zoning, etc. Someone who has worked for a municipality, working for a construction firm, is an engineer or architect.
