Poultry Laborer

Job Title: Laborer

Job Type: Full-Time



Job Description:

* Hang chilled turkeys on moving shackles.
* Perform processing tasks, including evisceration, giblet handling, grading, weighing turkeys before injection, tagging, and packaging.
* Stack boxes of fully processed, bagged turkeys.
* Box and palletize packaged whole turkeys.
* Work on the boning line, cutting wings, drums, thighs, breasts, tenders, and necks.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

* The job takes place in an air-conditioned food production plant.
* Some areas of the plant may be noisy.
* A drug test is not required for this position.

Schedule:

* This is a seasonal position beginning immediately and ending in mid to late November 2024.
* Typical shifts are:
* 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
* 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
* 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)

* Overtime may be required depending on production needs.
* Saturday shifts may be mandatory during peak production, especially in October 2024.

Company Policies:

* Immediate termination may occur for violations such as fighting, drug use (including marijuana in NPI housing), sexual harassment, theft, tardiness, excessive absenteeism, or poor job performance.



Compensation and Benefits:

* Hourly pay: $16, with weekly payment every Friday.
* Pay period runs from Sunday through Saturday, with pay issued the following Friday.



Uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

* Uniforms are not provided or required.
* Necessary PPE will be provided by the company.
