About the role Your Opportunity The Process Owner is expected to develop the operating team’s technical understanding and mastery of process control. This role will own the integrity of the Process Data and will be responsible for data analytics of process losses. Is responsible for improved productivity and cost effectiveness by recommending and implementing changes to improve the performance of systems and people, increase utilization of labor and other resources while maintaining or improving safety, quality and customer service. Individual may also manage a variety of projects including, but not limited to analysis, design, process improvement, and implementation of capacity, material handling system andtechnology changes.This position utilizes the data analysis to identify business opportunities, maps and documents process changes and improvements, effectively communicating business change requirements to key shareholders. This position could leads continuous improvement initiatives and processes, utilizing continuous improvement tools and lean principles to streamline processes, identifying, recommending and implementing operational process changes to produce a positive impact on key performance indicators to meet organizational goals in area of scope and to provide a more efficiently service to our customers. Responsibilities With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be This position will serve as the department subject matter expert for Excel / Minitab. Good working knowledge and practice of company safety policies and procedures and ensure all subordinates work within guidelines. Owns the Centerline, Changeover and Change Management DMS’s. Coaches teams on Centerline, Changeover and Change Management DMS execution and problem solving. Leads process definition to identify Centerline targets and document standards. Analyzes process data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities. Leads problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the process. Participating in Daily Direction Setting Meeting to set priorities and allocate resources. Identify opportunities for process improvement and facilitate or lead kaizen events, including, but not limited to: Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work, 5S, SMED, and Kaizen Blitz Provide engineering support for the establishment of accurate labor standards using time study or equivalent techniques Maintain complete standards and methods documentation, perform all scheduled audits. Maintain One QEHS Portal System , written procedures, and layouts as needed to reflect changes in business requirements, preferred methodologies, etc. and insure continued accuracy of standard. Improve work methods by analyzing methods and procedures to ascertain the most efficient way to perform all warehouse tasks. (Reducing steps, travel, non-value added time, and waste, deploying best practices, work simplification, staff planning, balancing, and identification/removal of barriers to productivity). Optimize material flow (Travel reduction, process balancing, optimizing storage utilization and put-away logic, and efficient slotting) Provide technical support for material handling system improvement (configuration, improved capacity, efficiency) Monitor and maintain a deep understanding of variables impacting key performance metrics, contributing input and support to team in achieving targets. Provide guidance and support for cost reduction projects. Skills and Experience The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy MinimumEducation: Science or Engineering Bachelor’s Degree, Mechanical/Industrial Preferred. Minimum Experience: 3-5 years supervisory experience or equivalent leadership experience with continuous improvements activities. Necessary Skills: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Lean Methodology to identify and drive Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement, Loss Time, Among Others Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and cost reduction. Must possess and exhibit strong ability to work cohesively with others to accomplish company objectives Excellent organization and follow-up skills Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills with effective training abilities High analytical skills. Strong personal computer and software skills and ability to perform necessary SAP functions Self-motivated and possess ability to work independently and as a team member Strong commitment to dependability and timeliness. High level of personal responsibility and accountability for results Ability to handle stressful, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Ability to think quickly, creatively and challenge team to do the same Strong verbal and written communication skills.
