Atkins Caribe is looking for a talentedProcurement Specialistto join our team at our growing organization.Atkins Global, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, is one of the world’s most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies. The Procurement Specialist oversees and directs activities associated with project-related sourcing, procurement, category and contract management. Candidate should have experience in procurement of indirect spend categories and HUD procurement process. Responsibilities include procurement, contract management, contract negotiations, evaluation of service implementation, monitoring of contract performance and compliance.
The successful applicant will be flexible, be a team player and have the ability to use common sense to provide contract-related issue resolution
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide project support on new RFP projects
Work with Program Director sourcing A&E firms & Contractors to meet business and internal customer needs
Identify the procurement needs, establishing strategic vetting to develop all the procurement process, to prepare RFQ’s if required and RFP’s, Task Orders, contractual documents, and supporting documentation

Lead process of selecting the contractors and the negotiation of contracts.

Administer each of the contracts under their control to ensure timely performance and compliance with all aspects of each contract.

Helps to manage the day to day business relationships and performance of partner vendors within the company
Work with vendors to maximize opportunities and compliance with Federal Procurement regulations
Collaborate on vendor performance, and continuous improvements
Negotiate, track and manage supplier programs
Help to facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes, policies, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures
Conducts meetings with stakeholders, project managers and project leaders ensuring open lines of communication across all disciplines within the organization
Provides Adhoc analysis when needed
Experience with American with Disabilities Act to 2010 ADA standards for Accessible Design, Section 504 Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS) and FHAct, Section 3 Employment Opportunity and Davis Bacon Act Wage Rates, construction codes a plus.

5 plus years of Purchasing/Procurement and/or supply chain roles of increasing scope, complexity and leadership responsibility
Knowledge of HUD Procurement process
Experience working with Indirect Spend to support companies’ operations
Bachelor's degree, preferably in related field
In-depth knowledge of excel and PowerPoint
Should have a working knowledge of strategic RFP process
Effective business planning, project management, problem solving, negotiation skills, and financial analysis
Excellent communication and strong collaboration skills
Extreme attention to detail
Proven leader who can influence and inspire team members
Must be sharp, deadline focused and highly motivated

Bachelor’s required

Coordinates and monitors procurement and contract administration efforts on procurement in projects. Negotiates, manages and leverages favorable agreements across business units. Provide procurement support on all projects within region.
