Production Supervisor

Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience as supervisor, beverage and food plant experience is a plus. A supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day performance of a small group. Through direct daily employee contact a supervisor responds to employee needs and issues. Supervisors are the direct link between their manager and the floor level employees and need to be effective in executing job training, safety and quality

Is a role model and leader for the department, creates a positive hardworking environment
Assigns job duties and responsibilities for team members
Understands all processes, establishes and performs annual review of SOP's
Oversees, monitors and conducts employee training
Ensures compliance with all policies (safety, cGMP, SOP)
Provides manager with process improvement ideas
Readily identifies problems and opportunities and quickly corrects or implements changes
Creates the weekly production schedule and ensures due dates are met.
Effectively communicates orally and in writing and demonstrates the ability to follow instructions.
