POSITION OVERVIEW
GENCO General Contractors is seeking to hire a Full-Time Construction Clerk for their Aguadilla, PR office to assist Project Manager on execution, organizing and managing of construction contracts in Puerto Rico and the Continental US. The selected candidate will be working from our Construction Division Office in Aguadilla, PR.
This position requires an experienced project analyst to help the project manager coordinate project execution and support through data analysis, and contributing to the overall strategy and performance evaluation. Candidate must show a combination of outstanding people skills and technical knowledge while keeping a sharp eye on all project factors. Skills such as extremely organized, capable of multitasking and excellent time managing are required in this position. Candidate must possess a high level of dependability, proactive driven mindset and should have a solid understanding of business and operational fundamentals, especially on federal government contracting.
JOB FUNCTIONS
The Project Analyst position is responsible for:
· Preparing detailed work plans for new projects, determining resource allocation, deliverable timelines, and possible issues
· Conducting feasibility analysis to ensure consistency with stakeholder requirements.
· Needs to coordinate meetings with stakeholders and consultants, conducting internal meetings, reviewing finances, and streamlining the overall workflow, to keep the project on schedule.
· Establishing performance indicators.
· Monitoring cost estimates, overall plans, and deliverables deadlines for the projects.
· Producing business insights and action recommendations through researched data.
· Creating and updating project documentation, including timelines, resource plans, and meeting minutes.
· Preparing presentations and status reports from external sources and subcontractors.
· Managing and addressing all interdepartmental construction-related tasks.
· Occasional travel
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that will be considered must meet the following requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Computer Science or construction-related field.
· 2+ years on construction-related experience.
· Fully bilingual (Spanish-English)
· Comfortable using technological resources
· Excellent organizational and time managing skills
· Experience or basic knowledge on Procore Software
· Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Self-motivation, self-direction and excellent communication skills
