Project Coordinator Req : 223548 Location: San Juan, PR US Job Category: Project and Program Management Minimum Security Clearance: Public Trust Job Description FEMA is required to sustain NPWS/PEP capabilities throughout the Unites States, and in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands that support the IPAWS Program and their ability to reach the public "under all conditions." The FEMA facilities in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands are equipped with standby generators, fuel storage tanks, fuel filters, and telemetry /monitoring systems, Emergency Alert System (EAS) ENDECs, telephone auto-couplers and telephone lines. Some of the equipment at these sites was damaged because of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. Additionally, because these sites were not fully modernized, the facilities demonstrated resiliency limitations during emergency operations in 2017. These two sites currently present operational and environmental risks that must be mitigated as soon possible. The Project Coordinator will act as the Caribbean area Coordinator and assist the Project Manager (PM) and Task Lead (TL) in overseeing and managing all preparations, local coordination, site drawings/issues for construction (IFC), permitting, surveys, onsite subcontractor work and other duties, as necessary to be performed in Puerto Rico (WKAQ) and the Virgin Islands (WSTA). The Coordinator shall reside in the Caribbean area and be fluent in Spanish and English. The Coordinator shall monitor and supervise all Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands work performed under this task order. What You'll Get To Do: Assist the PM and TL with schedules and cost estimates prior to the start of actions and activities. Request and receive approval from the CACI PM and/or task lead prior to engaging in purchases. Manage and track the schedule of work being executed under this TO. Manage and assist with the execution of Site Surveys/Assessments - Initial Station Visits. Assist with the local permitting, as necessary. Provide site management and oversight through completion of site-specific installations, to include assisting with identification and procurement of subcontractors and trades. Assist and monitor the demobilize and cleanup of work areas to ensure work area are return to the same condition found prior to FEMA site work. Be required to travel up to 50%. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Bachelor's degree and three (3) or more years of project management experience. Experience with MS Office Suite (e.g. Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
