Project Cost Accountant - Manufacturing Projects

*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a detail-oriented *Project Cost Accountant* to support project teams in cost estimation, cost control, and government incentive tracking for manufacturing-related initiatives.

*Responsibilities:*

*Costing:*

* Collaborate with project teams to gather input on processes, materials, and volumes.
* Prepare cost estimates based on defined scenarios and internal procedures.
* Analyze and estimate Cost of Goods Sold (CoGS) impact on P&L.

*Cost Control:*

* Ensure proper allocation of costs to respective projects.
* Prepare cost reclassifications as needed.
* Monitor actual spending vs. budget/forecast, identifying necessary adjustments.
* Proactively report cost variances, savings opportunities, and financial risks.

*Government Incentives:*

* Gather and maintain documentation required for government incentives.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to support incentive claims.
* Prepare and submit reimbursement requests in line with program requirements.

*Qualifications:*

* BBA in Accounting.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong background in standard cost development, variance analysis, and budget control.
* Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
