Become a Project Engineer at Abbott in Caguas, Puerto Rico. As Project Engineer you will m anage the execution of Moderate Complexity Projects through its Life Cycle including, but not limited to, Capacity Increase of existing Equipment/Process, Transfer of Product/Processes and others. HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE? Manage Capital projects. Defines project resources, performance reviews and post implementation evaluations. Take ownership of the successful implementation of the projects. Responsible for maintaining and track project budget(s). Reconcile the use of resources for the projects. Identify and anticipate schedule slips or changes and analyzes the costs and resource impact. Manage all aspects of project(s): planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up. Monitor progress and performance against the project plan. Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Ensure the project goals and objects are well understood by the various functional areas. Maintain the master project plan and schedule for assigned projects. Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. To be successful in this role, you will require the following qualifications: BS in Engineering, preferable Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. 3 years of experience in regulatory industries, such as pharmaceutical, medical devices or biotechnology. Knowledge of FDA, cGMP and ISO guidelines. Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt – preferred Effective communication & presentation skills. Experience in equipment & process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) Strong computer software knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point). Experience using MS Project software for project tracking. Fully Bilingual in both English & Spanish
