Public Affairs Broadcast Journalist - Paid Training

This role is for a person that is interested in beginning or continuing their professional growth in the area of television broadcast journalism and disc jockeying. Your training and job will include: Videography and video editing Voice skills for anchoring television news and performing as a disc jockey Writing news, feature and sports copy for radio and television Radio and television programming and production Public speaking Media relations We will provide you with 10 weeks of basic training and 12 weeks of individual and advanced training that will be in a classroom setting and on the job. You will be paid during your training period. Requirements A strong interest in communication is absolutely essential. The abiliity to speak in front of an audience is very helpful. Researching facts and issues for news stories will be required on a daily basis. These skills can be helpful: Interest in English, journalism, communications, computers and photography Ability to speak clearly in front of an audience Detail-oriented Enjoy researching facts and issues for news stories Can write clearly and concisely Benefits Paid training plus full time job with full benefits will be provided to successful candidates.
