The Operations team continues to grow and aims to strengthen the connection of Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) across Collins Aerospace. This position supervises Supply Chain Management support employees, setting day-to-day goals and objectives. Supports identification of gaps in processes and implementations, root cause analysis, and implementation of identified processes. Primary Responsibilities: Supports management across Supply Chain disciplines to identify gaps in processes and implementations. Supports root cause analysis and implementation of identified processes. Guides Supply Chain teams for order and procurement execution. Monitors adherence to standards and protocols. Partners with SMEs in gathering information on new vendors, sources, market, current processes and prices, and seeks approval from senior management. Guides associates and provides input based on issues faced in day-to-day operations. Guides responses to queries from internal and external stakeholders. Supports senior management in information gathering form primary and secondary sources for planning and budgeting day-to-day activities. Manages major responsibilities across multiple supply chain disciplines on a regular basis. Performs supply chain activities that cannot be attributed to a defined discipline. May also include professional employees required to perform activities across several disciplines on smaller sites. Education: BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or other Business-related field Basic Qualifications: At least 3-5 years of experience working within a manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints or drawings Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the organization as a prime contact on projects and gain cooperation of others Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills(English & Spanish). Excellent demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and strategic skills Superior interpersonal skills. Ability to perform multi-faceted projects in a rapidly changing environment. Results oriented, with sound judgment. Ability to effectively lead a cross-functional team.
