The Opportunity

Attend customers who visit the offices and calls received through telephone. Guides customers and visitors about the services offered by the company. Assists departments in the process of sending correspondence.




A day in the life...

* Promptly answer phone calls received from different areas and channel customer requests.
* He attends and guides clients who visit the offices and ensures that they are attended to promptly.
* Records checks received and delivers them to assignees.
* Access all telephone messages from the general mailbox and channel them to the corresponding personnel.
* Coordinates the use of messengers when necessary.
* Keep track of visitors.
* Handles correspondence when necessary.
* Performs any other function and/or task assigned by his/her supervisor according to the need of the department.

Surety Support



* Support the Customer Service area (Call Queue) when necessary.
* Check the status of the bonds in the system.
* Provides general guidance to clients about the documents needed to process different types of bonds.
* Responsible for delivering, collecting, and recording the bonds issued.
* Any other matter that is pertinent.




Office Management

* Coordinate the smooth operation of the coffee machine, as well as maintains the supplies of coffee, chocolate, etc.
* Support in the tasks of supply of materials, American Paper (weekly), Caribbean Forms, Bayamón Office, International Coffee Vendor (weekly) Zee Medical/ first aid kit (monthly).
* Any other matter that is pertinent.

What you will need for success

* Associate Degree and one (1) year of experience in the area of customer service and telephone panel management.
* One (1) year of experience in the area of customer service.
* Preferred with experience in the insurance industry and/or financial institutions.
* Skills and intermediate knowledge in information systems (Office 365, TEAMS, Excel).
* Bilingual: spanish & english (verbal and oral).

Physical Demands

* Ability to stay in stationary positions for 90% of the time (sitting, and/or standing).
* Ability to move frequently around the office to access files, electronic equipment and serve the public.
* Ability to perform slight movements (Loads of 10 pounds or less, pushing).
* Maintains constant communication with customers and employees and is able to exchange accurate information. (Written and Oral).
* Maintains constant eye contact 20 inches or less away for more than 6 hours a day when working on a computer 90% of the time. Ability to visually process writing and other materials.
* It constantly works indoors and under air conditioning in regulated temperature.
* Ability to handle small electronic equipment (fax, computer, telephone).
