Centurion of Florida has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Nurse Educator to join our growing team. This is a work-from-home position, however the candidate will need to live in the state of Florida. This position will require up to 100% travel throughout the entire state of Florida. Essential duties include: Plan and design curricula for educational programs; research and define educational goals, objectives and methodologies to meet program goals. Determine formats and approaches to achieve program objectives; define needs of target population. Coordinate activities of support staff, faculty and/or vendors engaged in implementation and administration of program objectives. Manage and facilitate program activities, to include classes, in-services, conferences, seminars, clinical rotations, and orientations. Write, edit, and coordinate development of educational offering program materials, educational materials, training manuals and/or brochures as appropriate to the program. Apply for Company State Board of Nursing provider continuing education certification and manage maintenance of all files and reports required for maintaining ongoing certification. Respond to requests from clients as well as company staff in accordance with company and facility guidelines. This includes following the rules and regulations for employee conduct/behavior and chain of command set forth by the security staff at all times while working within the correctional facility.
