Overview The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for every aspect of the sales process from initial contact to closing sales exercising consultative selling techniques throughout the process. We are looking for an aggressive, motivated, professional sales person to sell to middle market clients. This person must possess strong consultative, proven strategic selling abilities and be able to interact with our internal team, utility personnel, and "C" level executives. Details Initiate, contact and manage leads Prepare proposals and consult on solutions Maintain prospect and opportunity profiles Organize and participate in presenting our software solutions Organize presentation teams based on skills and requirements Participation in programs and events Continually develop new business within various regions and industries on a regional and national basis. Maintain a qualified pipeline at a minimum of $15m in opportunities. Throughout the qualification process, identify the specific needs of individual prospects and how our solutions meet those needs and create customer value Proactively develop leads from trade and professional organizations, shows and events and other sources Quote prices, prepare proposals and display level of competency in RFP responses Report to management on prospect relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new opportunities. Maintain a high level of knowledgeable and value about our products and services Qualifications: Experience in selling value driven software solutions Professional, creative and dynamic presence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels 5 years previous sales experience in a high-end sales organization Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Excellent time management skills with emphasis on the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines Familiarity and strong working knowledge of CRM systems (contact management, forecasting and reporting tools), Sales CRM experience is desired Must be able to travel a minimum of 50% of the time Harris is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
