Repairs & Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining the entire hotel facility, including the physical structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs. Ensure the upkeep of guest areas to maintain an attractive hotel.
Education & Experience:
At least 3 years of progressive experience in a resort, timeshared or a related field; or a 4-year college degree; or a 2-year college degree and 1 or more years of related experience.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.
Supervisory experience required.
Must be proficient in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
Must be bilingual (Spanish & English)
Physical Requirements:
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to stand during entire shift.
Practice safe working habits, including bending and lifting appropriately to avoid injury, reporting hazards, appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and working to minimize tripping hazards.
