Restaurant Hostess

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will provide a warm welcome, manage reservations and seating efficiently, and ensure each guest has a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities:
* Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
* Manage waitlists and reservations using a digital system or reservation book
* Assign tables based on guest preferences and server availability
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
* Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth service
* Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally
* Assist with takeout or delivery orders, if applicable

Qualifications:
* Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred but not required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Positive attitude and professional appearance
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
