Description:
We're looking for an extraordinary resume writer to join our team. We're a 100% remote-based business helping job hunters create attention-grabbing job search documents. As a member of our writing team, you'll be the mastermind behind professionally polished resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and other career-related documents.
About the job:
No client-facing time! You won’t have to interact directly with any customers. The primary responsibility of this role is to create resumes from scratch with client-provided data. You may also edit or rewrite existing documents.
You'll have access to limited resources, including resume examples/templates, cover letter examples/templates, and support from other writers.

Are you the right fit for our company?
You have a flair for language and know how to produce effective resumes & other documents, in a way that gives the customer confidence. You are proficient in MS Word.
You want recurring, consistent work that gives you a high degree of flexibility. You are assigned resume projects every week with flexible deadlines for completion.
You can work with a lot of autonomy. We provide general guidelines and advice on how to write resumes, but you have a lot of discretion and are encouraged to find a process that makes you the most effective and efficient with your time.
You have experience with resume writing, career counseling, career coaching, and/or hiring. A Bachelor’s degree in English or another writing-intensive field is desired but not required.
Hours/Commitment:
Hours are highly flexible. We are looking for writers that can deliver 15+ resumes per month. That said, there is no specific requirement. Our writers are assigned jobs every week based on their availability and usually complete an entire service (resume + LI) in about 4 hours.
Compensation:
All resume writers are considered independent contractors, and each writer is paid based on the number of services completed. We offer competitive rates. We will reach out to qualified applicants with more information about compensation. Payments are made every month, for all work completed/submitted by the end of the month.
How to get an interview?
-The #1 thing we look at when reviewing applications are resume samples. You should attach at least 2 writing samples along with your resume. The samples don't need to be real resumes. You can hide any confidential information, or you can create "fake" content for the samples. We mostly want to see how the resume is worded, formatted, presented, etc. It's probably best to save them as PDFs when attaching them to ensure your formatting doesn't change when downloaded. Experience as a resume writer in the industry is also a plus.
