General Description Responsible supporting mortgage servicing quality control testing efforts through business analytics and compliance updates. The Analyst may perform all or part of the key tasks and responsibilities identified below. All or some of the qualifications below may be attributed to the applicant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identifies source data for potential test populations Performs queries and/or interfaces with other analysts to perform queries to identify potential test populations • Assists in establishing sampling methodology for mortgage servicing quality control testing Performs sampling selection for mortgage servicing quality control testing Works with line of business personnel, quality control testing and review/arbitration personnel, quality control compliance personnel, risk and compliance personnel to identify, document and track root cause analyses for quality control findings Perform trending analyses for findings, defect errors, root causes, remediation activities, improvements Based upon business analytics, identify opportunities for discretionary sampling Either manually or in conjunction with established systems, review and maintain quality control tests in compliance with federal, local, investor, insurer and other regulatory requirements Participates in federal, local, investor, insurer and other training to enhance knowledge and skills Participates in internal and external projects as assigned • Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Experience Minimum 3 years of mortgage banking or audit experience and business analytics experience.
