*Job Summary:*

The *Sales Executive* is responsible for the execution of sales solutions, sales growth opportunities, and maintaining current partnerships. The Sales Executive will maximize sales through unmatched attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, initiative and drive. This role operates approximately 80% in the field and 20% in the office.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Must be a driven sales professional effective at daily outreach, cold-calling and prospecting.

• Responsible for submiting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

• Stay up to date on trends by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

• Hunter mentality with a large emphasis on obtaining new business.

• Able to consistently meet and/or exceed sales goals.

• Demonstrates administrative abilities in managing accounts and service needs.

• Willing to take extra steps and/or time necessary to ensure follow-through on details.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude at work and is comfortable giving and receiving feedback.

• Demonstrates ability to manage a diverse, high-volume book of business with an emphasis on customer relations and client retention.

• Responsible for analyzing product movement and providing valued suggestions to increase sales. • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing daily and weekly reports such as special-order requests, customer files, and sales/gross profit margin data.

• Conducts client visits and local networking events as needed.

• Delivers outstanding customer service to both prospective and existing clients.

• Responsible for preventing/regaining lost business.

• Must be willing to travel throughout Puerto Rico.

• Other duties could be assigned in order to meet business needs.

*Qualifications:*

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year university is highly preferred.

• 5 years of outside business-to-business sales experience, preferrably in the Food and/or Produce Industry.

• Must be able to communicate with clients in both English and Spanish.

• Proven sales/profitability track record.

• Must possess a valid Puerto Rico driver's license.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret reports.

• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be able to work independently and be highly motivated self-starter.

• Must be professional, punctual, and team-oriented.

*Skills:*

• Ability to calculate amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have great time management skills and able to work well under stress.

• Customer/Client Focus.

• Problem Solving Analysis skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
