General Description
Salesforce Developer Lead will be a part of one or more scrum teams in Banco Popular and will implement user stories in the Salesforce platform focusing on the back-end side integration, data model, and security.
Own development tasks for one or more projects at a time. Minimize and reduce tech debt as an integral part of the development process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Advise the project team on out of the box vs customization options for solutions related to user stories.
Collaborate with architects to ensure appropriate development patterns and standards are followed.
Collaborate with enterprise architecture to evaluate and evolve integration standards and practices.
Implement solutions using both click and code.
Manage the Salesforce data model and associated changes.
Work with architects and admins to implement and maintain security practices associated to Salesforce data models, integration and access.
Implement performance measurement techniques and associated optimizations for the Salesforce platform.
Provide estimations for points required for stories to be implemented.
Demonstrate solutions and perform postmortems.
Learn new and upcoming Salesforce features and advise on using them in the platform.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
Experience
3+ years of hands on experience developing applications in the Salesforce platform.
Hands on experience creating modules using Apex.
Hands on experience in Salesforce integration, SSO and oauth.
Hands on experience with Salesforce data model, sharing practices, security rules and record access.
Understanding of Salesforce platform events.
Experience with ETL tools.
Certifications
Salesforce Certified Administrator,
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder,
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, or;
willingness to obtain certification immediately upon hire.
Others Qualifitications
Good understanding of SFDC platform capabilities and concepts, including staying up to date on latest new functionality.
Good understating of sales cloud, service cloud and experience cloud.
Knowledge of SDLC best practices for SDFC solution development.
Ability to define implementation scope and provide estimates on effort required to build the solution.
