Identify business needs, understand requirements, and determine the best solution to help resolve customer problems. Design enhancements and/or a solution to meet end user requirements. Perform configuration work as needed to support new and existing functionality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs configuration on SAP ERP as needed to support new and existing functionality. Functions as resident team expert for all configuration issues (both support and project) within their areas (modules) of expertise. Serves as functional integration owner for multiple process areas. Prepares functionality specifications and delivers to ABAP developers. Collaborates with the ABAP developers and the quality assurance team to develop and test significant new functionality enhancements. Insure production system efficiency and alignment with existent and new business process through patches installation and upgrades. Performs integration testing work as necessary to assure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality. Trains expert users on new enhancements or functionality as required. Insures knowledge transfer to expert users as necessary to increase their understanding and utilization of the SAP systems applications. Utilizes ASAP methodology and tasks required during each phase of implementation. Insures prompt responses to customer inquiries. Create and maintain documentation as necessary for compliance purposes.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering
At least two years related experience in information systems or project coordination. Finance, Logistic or HR background preferred. Minimum of two years of experience on business process analysis and configuration and SAP HR modules.
