General Responsibilities
The SAP Business Analyst will be supporting Evertec's internal clients in the Finance and Billing units. This role is responsible for the design and implementation of projects using SAP solutions taking into consideration internal customers needs to improve unit processes. Acts as a subject matter expert in SAP FICO and BW business applications functions and processes. Handles several minor projects at the same time. Projects activities include the provision of information on the planning of tasks and activities, the coordination and execution of the scope, the agreed deliveries, the establishment and management of customer expectations and the management of a certain level of acceptable risk.
Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance or Accounting is preferable. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the implementation, configuration, support and development of SAP FICO and SAP BW or SAP SD modules is required. Al least one (1) year of experience in the design and execution of test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are properly implemented and meet business objectives.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Proven skills in SAP FICO module configuration, implementation, and support.
Expertise in the analysis and process design of SAP Finance functions and processes.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles.
Ability to understand client's needs and specifications in order to transform them into appropriate system solutions.
Ability to develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT areas to ensure successful implementation and support efforts..
Excellent communication skills, oral and written in English and Spanish.
Ability to identify, analyze and solve technical matters related to SAP FICO.
Ability to learn new or existing processes, system and configuration matters.
Ability to get things done considering time frames and quality.
Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
