SAP Performance SME Working experience in SAP administration with ECC 6.0, PI/PO, SCM, SRM, BW, CRM, Portal (NW 7.5), Solution Manager 7.2, Portal and BOBJ (A Plus) Wily Performance Tools (A Plus) Knowledge of Storage Systems, Linux Operating Systems, Network Configuration from a Performance standpoint Automated performance related monitoring and reporting processes via shell scripts, ABAP and JAVA. Excellent understanding of the interrelationship of all infrastructure components and software components from a performance standpoint Required to identify performance related issues and devise solutions with verifiable results in performance improvements Configure and review Early watch alert reports. Tune and Monitor SAP Products and HANA database, adjust profile parameters as appropriate Troubleshoot HANA Performance issues. Perform day-to-day monitoring of SAP environments by checking system log, short dumps, cancelled jobs, failed updates, application table locks, memory usage, SAP buffer usage and checking user activity. Monitoring database by checking database logs, transaction log usage, tablespace usage, database usage, check for failed backups and check for sequential reads. Monitoring operating system by checking file system usage, drives usage, CPU and memory usage. Perform capacity planning for database growth and performance Perform approved changes after following customer change control policies and documented the steps required in detail for successful change/back out execution. Able to think strategically long term but react immediately to resolve performance issues. Integrate well with Basis and Database Managers, Application Developers and Functional Teams to determine root cause analysis and provide immediate solutions with quantifiable results. Responsible for overall performance of the entire SAP environment, including all hardware and software components Prepare performance related reports using MS PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets to explain the performance related issues, proposed resolutions, projected results of proposed resolutions. Review and apply OSS Notes Work with business users and end user’s requests/issues via ticketing system. Participate in monthly maintenance windows and work on assigned tasks. Document processes and procedures Perform on-call support as needed.
