The role: The Scheduler reports to the Terminal Manager and is responsible for developing short and long term operations schedules for the LNG Terminal. He/She shall maintain a detailed knowledge of customer service requirements, fundamental knowledge of project management, shipping schedules, gas nominations and how these work flows impact Operations so that conflicts are averted. Responsibilities: Prepare operations schedules for construction projects, and/or any small-scale projects in Puerto Rico Give detail about the progress of construction and evaluate performance of projects and anticipate possible delays that could affect project completion Drive development and maintenance of specific project baselines and reporting systems to fulfil project requirements. Develop, implement and maintain the planning/scheduling portion of projects Analyze, evaluate and forecast current status against an established baseline schedule Assess the impact/s of design or construction changes and schedule slippages Report schedule status to all levels of the project team and company management What you bring: Proven experience as a scheduler in operations and/or construction Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently proof work for accuracy Ability to manage time to meet appropriate deadlines and schedules Safety and hazard training preferred Our commitment to diversity inclusion: New Fortress Energy promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace.
