Descripción del Empleo:
Performs microbiological tests according to approved methods SOP’s and GMP’s using equipment and instruments provided. This requires skills in the handling of microbiological laboratory equipment and materials and also in the interpretation of data resulting.
1. Cultivates isolates and assists in identifying bacteria and other microorganisms and perform other microbiological tests under supervision.
2. Prepares culture media according to standard procedures and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment clean
3. Keeps record of daily tests in the appropriate record books
4. Performs daily calibration checks of all equipment in the laboratory using calibrated weights, standard buffers and calibrated thermometers.
5. Performs periodic validation checks of autoclave and incubators in the laboratory.
6. Performs in a rotating basis checks of sanitation methods across the plant using swab
Requisitos:
• Bachelor degree in Microbiology or Science • Three to five years experience in the pharmaceutical industry

In depth understanding/knowledge of:
• cGMP, EHS, other related regulatory requirements and Controlled Substance
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office, Business Application)
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must possess flexibility to respond to constantly changing conditions and priorities
