Laulima Government Solution is looking for a Security Specialist to provide Personal Identity Verification (PIV) registrar support services for a Homeland Security customer in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Duties Include: Reviewing card credential request forms. Entering card credential request forms information into Smartcard Management System. Capturing photos and biometrics (fingerprints) for each applicant. Reviewing Identity Proofing documents. Completing verification for non-US Citizens. Validating CDC's Information Technology Services Office Certificate Update Information. Issuing Credential Personal Identity Verification (PIV). Verifying biometrics. Verifying Active Account in People Processing requirements. Verifying background investigation and fingerprints are cleared in People Processing. Validating Safety and Security Awareness Training (SAT) Verification. Traveling to CDC headquarters (Atlanta, GA) and other required locations for work updates and issuance requirements training. Completing PIV pin resets. Troubleshooting PIV card issues. Replacing damaged cards. Assessing physical access capability on PIV. Processing PIV requests received through the Cardkey office mailbox. Updating PIV Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates. Printing PIV cards. Degree/Education/Certification Requirements: Minimum of a High School Degree Required Skills and Experience: Must be bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish). Must be willing to be fully trained and certified to operate FIPS 201-compliant credentialing equipment at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, GA (company will pay and arrange travel). Must be able to visually inspect validity, and to compare, both visually and through the B.E.S.T. application software, the identity of the candidate to the candidate's identity-proofing documents, including visas for both US citizens and foreign nationals. Must be able to provide a high level of customer service, demonstrating courtesy and efficiency at all times. Citizen and Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Must have completed National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation on file with a favorable suitability determination.
