NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico (PR-PR), Puerto Rico (PR). Additional duties include: Monitor and report the results of various project meetings Support design sessions Performing analysis of requirements from elaboration phase through implementation phase Analyzing and commenting on deliverables from the system vendor and project management office Monitoring and reporting project schedule progress Assisting in production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports Assessing DDI Contractor documentation such as Project Management Plan and Schedule, CMS Certification Checklist(s), Detailed System Design documents, Data Conversion Plan, Testing Plans and associated results, User Documentation, Training Plan, Implementation Strategies, Implementation and Rollout Plans, and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plan Researching alternative solutions to problems, determines proper approaches and makes verbal and/or written recommendations to appropriate stakeholders Employee is expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their Manager. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or 9 years of equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of experience with Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment processes Minimum 5 years in evaluating work products to independently assess completeness and accuracy of design and development, and reports findings Ability to write detailed assessment reports of project activities Minimum 2 years' experience in an IV&V vendor role during design, development, and implementation of a Medicaid business solution Experience in performing project management and DDI activity assessments and evaluations through analysis and interpretation of objective and subjective evidence Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (Waterfall or Agile development) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (focus on Word and Excel) Demonstrated ability to work independently Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time Candidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Effective communication skills to interact and present findings to team members, customers, management, and support personnel Experience working with project management methodology Experience in DDI project and Medicaid operations compliance Ability to analyze and resolve difficult logic and processing issues Ability to communicate difficult concepts to technical and non-technical staff Ability to work effectively and efficiently under strict timelines Demonstrated ability to work within a virtual and face-to-face environment General user knowledge of SharePoint Conversational Spanish skills (desired but not required) This position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
