The Capacity Manager is responsible for the delivery of the GIS Global Process for Capacity Management across the specified accounts. They will coordinate with a "virtual team" of support professionals, tasked with providing capacity related services and support to the account. The Capacity Manager is a leveraged member of the Capacity Management Technical Group within the Service Management Global Delivery Network, lead by the Global Capacity Management Lead and supported by the Global Capacity Management Subject Matter Expert and Global Capacity Management Process Owner, who drive continuous improvement and development of the process. The Capacity Manager provides a single interface for all Capacity Management related activities with the account; chairing regular reviews and coordinates the delivery and review of all capacity related reports. The Capacity Manager will have in depth knowledge of all aspects of Capacity Management and will leverage their experience to identify opportunities for improvement for both the customer and CSC. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or other empirical discipline. Successful completion of ITIL Version 3 Foundations training. o Intermediate 'Planning, Protection and Optimisation' or 'Service Design' highly desirable. Experience A minimum of 5 years of related IT services experience. A minimum of 3 years operational support experience. A minimum of 2 years process support experience. A minimum of 1 year experience of driving virtual teams within a matrixed organization. Demonstrated people skills.
