General Description 13; Responsible of leading or administering activities related to social commitment, such as: community affairs and non:profit organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 13;

Serve as the lead grants manager for Fundación Banco Populars Social Investment Program, which generally includes the following: review proposals and monitor grants; engage in issues exploration; participate in community events; and foster effective partnerships with the 70+ grantee.

In charge of the two annual Request for Proposals announcement and processes from start to end. Work with grant applicants to clarify the Foundations priorities, requirements, and improve the quality of proposals. If necessary, evaluates and provides feedback to applicants on the feasibility proposed work plans and anticipated results.

Responsible for ensuring an effective management and monitoring of the Foundations 2.5 million general in collaboration with the Senior Accountant, consulting Accounting Manager and the Executive Director.

In charge of implementing the Foundations evocative philanthropy strategy by ensuring non:profit partners are connected to opportunities and capacity building resources based on their reported needs.

Provides regular snapshot reports to the Programs Director, Executive Director and/or Board Directors with updates on program work and grantee performance.

Actively participate in all Board of Directors:related processes and presentations.

Remain well informed of current research, activities, and trends in the issues addressed by the Programs focus areas.

Ensure timely implementation of Program:related action items on the Foundations Strategic Plan

Advise the Programs Director and Executive Director on education, community development and policy issues.

Contribute to the creation and publication of the Foundations Annual Report.

Serve as principal support and supervisory liaison with Casa de Niños Popular (CNP). Ensure timely implementation of CNPs strategic plan and educational model behalf of the organizations team.

Responsible for the timely and efficient implementation the assigned tasks established on the Divisions Disaster Response Strategy yearly work plan.

Collaborate with other Foundation Program Officers and Programs Director, as requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

May lead the work of others.

Minimum Education 13;

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Education or Social Sciences from a four:year accredited college or university.

Experience 13;
A minimum of five (5) years of

experience in the philanthropic or non:for:profit field; proven leadership, effectiveness and
in:depth understanding of policies, issues, initiatives, and project management in the Social, Economic and Community Development.

Certifications / Licenses 13;

No certifications or license needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) 13;
:

Knowledge of community affairs, grants proposals, non:profit organizations techniques and methods.
:

Experience with Social, Economic and Community Development with in:depth understanding of education policy and community development issues.
:

Specialized knowledge and/or work experience with philanthropy and/or the non:profit sector.
:

Knowledge of project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management, resource allocation, team management and status reports.

Exceptional analytical, collaboration and problem:solving skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous initiatives, self:direct and task switch between strategic and tactical initiatives regularly.
