Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead a large-scale, multi-million-dollar project within the medical device sector. The right candidate will have extensive experience managing complex projects, budgets, cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational, financial, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, deliverables, and resource allocations while performing risk assessments and outlining mitigation strategies.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses and cash flow, and implement cost-control measures to achieve financial targets.
* Lead a cross-functional team spanning engineering, design, regulatory, quality, and marketing, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Maintain open lines of communication with internal teams and external partners, ensuring all stakeholders are regularly updated on project status.
* Guarantee adherence to FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards by coordinating compliance efforts and supervising quality assurance processes.
* Track project schedules, manage key milestones and dependencies, and control scope changes to minimize impact on timelines and budget.
* Provide regular executive updates, proactively resolve issues, and conduct project closure activities including documenting lessons learned and final reporting.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
* Master's degree or additional certifications in Project Management (a plus)
* Strong background in budget management, financial tracking, and cash flow oversight
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project (Gantt charts) and Microsoft Excel
* Fluent in English and Spanish (bilingual required)
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
