As the Senior Scheduler, you will: Utilize Production Planning and Scheduling tools and practices for the effective and efficient control and execution of products/materials/resources throughout the site operations. You engage in active optimization through load leveling principles and conflict management skills. Your contribution allows to achieve the most feasible plan and optimize materials and product flow, aligned to our Business vision. Utilize appropriate risk management to prevent unanticipated failure modes and improve efficiency of schedule sequence. Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures such as Inventory Control, Data Integrity, SOX among others. You will generate Planning indicators and metrics as applicable, and support resolution of identified issues. You will lead corrective actions at the business unit level and/or Plant level, following Global Planning established processes. Build strategies with Master Data, New Product, Project Management, and Launch teams to advance site growth in implementing new products and medicines to our patients. This collaboration will allow you to drive recipe implementation plans aligned with base-business needs for a holistic view of supply. Serve as liaison and facilitator between volume and shopfloor Planning, by using Planning platforms and models to optimize level load and anticipate/resolve conflicts. As point of contact you will Lead, anticipate and connect scheduling horizon to demand coverage. You will also perform necessary adjustments to ensure continued supply, driving discussion to related team members and management. You will advise on risks, proposed solutions and decisions to support feasible schedule. Review short term capacity for centers and perform adjustments to streamline orders sequencing. Lead schedule processes with planners, technical groups, engineering, Quality, and operations teams to achieve a robust signal to resources and operation. Connect with site support teams will channel communication and ensure plan stability. Submit monthly plans and controls decisions towards month to date results, to achieve financial and service goals. Continuously link inventory position to established plans to link both service and efficiency. Generates and monitors Demand/supply related reports. Control adequate inventory consumption by avoiding hold time risks, through correct material flow through the different production stages. Perform MPS Planning related mid to long term volume analysis and capacity planning as hybrid role for specific brands (threshold 4-36 months). Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Planning, Materials Management or related field. A minimum of six (6) years of experience in a Regulated Industry is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience scheduling is required. APICS Certification, Lean Six Sigma or Master Planning certifications preferred. SAP experience required. Additional Production Planning/inventory platforms and capacity leveling experience preferred. Strong analytic skills and financial knowledge are required. Experience with volume analysis and shopfloor experience is preferred. Proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written) is required. Computer-literate in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word and PowerPoint) is required. Intermediate MS Excel proficiency is required. This position requires up to ten percent (10%) of travel.
