Service Advisor

Descripción del Empleo:
* Coordinates customer appointments and greets customer when they arrive to the Parts and Service Area and performs vehicle inspection.
* Advises customer on the applicable maintenance services and warrant and parts availability.
* Obtains customer’s approval and signature after making sure he/she understands the dealership payment policy.
* Contacts the customer for authorization whenever the repair order needs to be extended beyond the agreed estimate and provide the new total cost estimate and new delivery time.
* Follows up the workshop while repair is underway to ensure it is completed according to schedule and the instructions and calls customer to provide an update of the repair.
* Explains the customer the work performed and parts replaced when presenting the invoice.
Requisitos:
* Automotive Technical degree from an accredited school
* Automotive Technician license and membership from CTMAPR, required
* Five (5) years of experience minimum as Automotive Service Advisor
* Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of SAP, ADP and Mitchell, a plus
* Valid PR driver’s license
* Strong customer service, teamwork and communication skills
* Able to work rotating shifts
* Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)

Special Requirements:

The incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 pounds during short periods and drive long distances. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms.
