Description:SUMMARYUnder general supervision, the GCPM Sr Project Associate Mgmt provides support to capital projects reporting and cost control services on field construction and engineering contracts applied in small to medium construction projects for the organization.FUNCTIONSSpecific responsibilities include:? Represent the department on department /organization wide teams.? Keep the supervisor informed of project status, developments and issues.? Act as a liaison between various departments/ outside agencies/ collaborators by providing reports and data analysis and ensuring the flow of communication between groups.? Design, execution and maintenance of reports? Responsibilities will include the development of system data file strategy, detail plans, execution of schedule and the approval of packages required to support other start-up activities.? Organize construction reporting meetings, coordinates cost meetings with project managers, coordinates travel, and prepare expenses reports as required? Prepare and monitor the performance monthly metrics for training? Get data for the sweep certification process (% of allocations from the resources to the projects) on a quarterly basis and submit to Finance department? Updates EPPM system with the time and resources required for Engineering Services Request and Capital projects provided by the Project Managers? Provide backup support in the creation of the projects in the eBuilder system? Support Capital Project Managers in the specific project assigned by the Project Control Manager to track scope, schedule, cost and resources against approved capital funds? Assist the project manager in the preparation of project ILM funding documents? Establish the general ledger account structure (WBS Element) by projects? Review contract requirements in the areas of request for proposals (RFP) in partnership with Global Strategic Sourcing and process change orders as required through Efinity system? Assess construction progress through the preparation of the monthly Total Cost Management (TCM) report by project through eBuilder software and discuss with the Capital Project Manager for approval? Prepare a monthly capital projects accruals? Run the Monte Carlo risk software to the projects to determine the project contingency needed? Perform a quarterly capital project latest estimate (LE) and the annual budget plan for capital and expense expenditures? Establish and manage cash flow projections? Audit capital project invoices prior to payment? Work cross-functionally within the Finance, Global Strategic Sourcing and Corporate business organizations to resolve any vendors issues?
