Coordinates and evaluates chemical laboratory workload. Provides technical support to the chemistry laboratory personnel. Performs chemistry laboratory schedule and tests to avoid delay in the release of the product, assuring a quality and safety work. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemistry; five years related experience; Chemist License and Certification; working knowledge of all areas of the chemical laboratory (Initial, Raw Material, In-Process, Finals, Water Analysis). LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, internal and external audits. Fully bilingual (English and Spanish languages). MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS cGMP's Training, Chemist license, and other trainings, certificates or licenses that the immediate supervisor refers.
