Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods). Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements. Establishes inventory control standards for all sites. Establishes targets based on current inventory entitlement and business requirements Responsible for inventory reduction strategies, measuring execution and adjusting tactics based on business need Ensures proper use of planning systems maximizing use of technology for increased efficiency and inventory accuracy Key member of Supply Chain teams involved in IBP (integrated business planning) and SiOP processes Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree required Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5 years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5 years of managerial experience Nice to Have Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Computer Systems Master Degree in Supply Chain APICS Certification Green Belt or Black Belt About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
