Position Summary Closely study and track market trends, competitor dynamics as well as industry developments and make actionable recommendations Oversee the strategic plan process and prepare analysis for management to optimally support strategic recommendations Consolidate information and make it easily accessible to all stakeholder groups Using analytical and problem-solving skills, identify problems, recommend solutions, and work with other high impact business units, such as Business Developers, Finance and Business Partners in Markets Manage the development and drive the implementation of both short and long-term category strategies at PR CCA Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the centralization of information from the field (e.g. information collected by business partners, information from the competitive intelligence network, etc.) and channel the information to relevant users Develop/manage an insights portal in collaboration with IT, consolidating key insight requirements and making it available to relevant stake-holders in user friendly format; cover all aspects of marketing intelligence provided by the Business Partners Liaise with the Business Partner teams to match consumer/shopper insight with industry trends/opportunities (digital/retail of the future/cat man) taking the lead on category management support Support Management in their decision-making process with insightful reporting and recommendations on competitors, market or industry trends. For example: Brand portfolio analysis (regional and by market) and business reviews Competitor strategy (pricing, positioning, NPD - price positioning, competitor set evaluation, unmet consumer needs) Market/Industry Trends: New categories, new channels, new technologies A&P allocation prioritization and Investment strategy Manage Insight and Analytic Budget allocated in A&P Manage and drive the exchange of information across affiliates/regions to maximize the capitalization of existing insights; participate in the CI network Support the strategic plan process for all PR CCA Region Provide support & consultation for the budget process Lead the market sizing process and oversee the distribution of templates and the consolidation of data from markets based on agreed assumptions from agreed data sources (IWSR, Generations Research) Own and develop market segmentation with a deep understanding of PR methodology and markets dynamics Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing research and/or analytics, preferably within international wines and spirits industry Strong analytical skills and familiar with major statistical as well as market research tools Good general business sense and good interpersonal skills and capable of communicating and influencing different levels and different internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in both, written and spoken, English and Spanish.
