Sr Tax Accountant

Responsible for completion of federal, international and state income tax returns including all related analysis and support, including valuation of assets. Forecasts company's global effective tax rate. Prepares external reporting of the effective tax rate, balance sheet, transfer pricing, cash flow forecasting and the tax footnotes. Keeps abreast of the variances in state and local jurisdictions and creates plans to minimize the amount of taxes paid by the organization across these entities. Works directly with external auditors and understands tax compliance. May be involved with merger and acquisition activities and other tax planning. May be responsible for compliance. Must Have: Minimum Requirements Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience A Bachelor's Degree Required Nice to Have BBA in Accounting or FinanceBilingualBackgroundExperience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or electronic industry Skills Problem Solving Teamwork Communications Continues Improvement About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
