ICF—together for tomorrow. The SOP Specialist supports Disaster Recovery efforts in Puerto Rico for both the Project Formulation and Grants Management teams. This position is located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Role and Responsibilities: Primary role is to work on the preparation of standard operating procedures and best practices. This person will work closely with the Program Director and other management staff and technical staff to help define the requirements for communications (print, electronic and more) and then develop, gather and disseminate the information among Project Formulation and Grants Management Teams. The primary focus will be on developing and communicating policy and process changes, best practices, so each group works efficiently and goals are met. Work closely with staff to absorb complex information and find best way to explain, teach and convey to current and new staff. Prepare SOP manuals for seamless transition and transparency. Proofread various materials. Prepare checklist, specification sheets and other materials. Assist in preparation of protocols and documents. Create Stand Operating Procedures. Qualifications and Education Requirements 8 years of relevant experience Strong writing skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience FEMA preferred. Strong organization skills required.
