Micro Merchant Systems (MMS) is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to lead the market expansion of Pharmacy Management System, PrimeRx™ and line of Prime branded pharmacy solutions into Integrated Delivery Network (IDN), Heath System, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and Enterprise Pharmacy Organizations with outpatient pharmacy services offerings in 340b, Community Retail, Long Term Care, Mail Order and Specialty Pharmacy.

Applicants are required to live within a major metropolitan market within U.S. for consideration and be able to travel the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Job Description
Responsible for targeting, qualifying and selling the Micro Merchant Systems’ PrimeRx Pharmacy Management System and line of Prime branded Outpatient Pharmacy Solutions to Integrated Delivery Network (IDNs), Heath System, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Enterprise Pharmacy Organizations. Gain access to decision-makers at potential clients and presents a compelling offering that meets/exceeds the client’s requirements for quality, service, and pricing. Responsible for cultivating relationships with decision makers within IDN/Heath System Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Enterprise Pharmacy Organizations with Outpatient Pharmacy service offerings in 340b, Community, Long Term Care, Mail Order and Specialty Pharmacy.

The Strategic Account Manager will work with a dedicated team to build Micro Merchant Systems exposure and access in targeted IDNs, Health System and Enterprise level Outpatient Pharmacy organizations throughout the United States. The Strategic Account Manager will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and partner with Inside Sales, Marketing, and core internal business leaders across Micro Merchant Systems to help drive the sales process from initial contact to close.
The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-starter who shares a passion for transforming the current outpatient pharmacy market and possess a hunger to drive revenue growth through new business acquisitions.

We are looking for an individual who is energized about the opportunity to exercise their fluency in the Outpatient Pharmacy service lines of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Heath Systems, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Enterprise Pharmacy Service organizations and help Micro Merchant Systems expand our growth into these markets.

Job Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize optimal health system organizations with the greatest challenges that would align with our solutions.
Owns and builds strong customer relationships for successful account management that are aligned with Micro Merchant Systems strategic plan. Customer relationships to include Pharmacy & Procurement functions.
Navigate complex health systems and hospitals to contact healthcare pharmacy and procurement executives and arrange for discussions/sales demonstrations.
Sell baseline PrimeRx Pharmacy Management systems and up sells integrated product offerings to potential clients.
Work closely with senior commercial colleagues to execute Micro Merchant Systems’ brand strategy in targeting Integrated Delivery Networks or other highly organized health system
customers to close potential clients and attain or exceed sales goals.
Update and provides ongoing maintenance of appropriate CRM and other compliance/tracking systems so that leadership is apprised on an ongoing basis of pipeline status of clients, achievement against plan, win/loss ratio, and other essential business information.
Maintains awareness of current marketplace, competitors’ offerings, and contract status to more effectively address potential clients’ expectations and to overcome objections.

Assists leadership with the development and implementation of sales budgets, profitability targets, opportunity analyses, and special projects. Collaborates and shares best practices with leadership and other colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS required. MBA/MS preferred
At least 7 years of enterprise sales experience within healthcare tech, pharmacy, or SaaS product sales in IDN/Health Systems, with preferability in Outpatient Pharmacy service offerings in 340b,
Community, Long Term Care, Mail Order and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
At least 5 years of experience developing and delivering sales presentations to various audience levels within an IDN/Health System organization, preferably to Pharmacy or Supply Chain Executives or Leaders.
Knowledge of federal drug programs, community health centers, critical access hospitals, rural and small hospitals, and outpatient pharmacy programs in 340b, Community, Long Term Care,

Mail Order and/or Specialty Pharmacy. Completion of 340b University and/or advanced understanding of 340b preferred.

Evidence of outstanding sales performance including exceeding quotas, winning sales awards, etc.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly visible and dynamic environment and can work effectively with ambiguity and incomplete information

Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.

Experience building and exulting business plan development, negotiating and implementing customer contracts in long-term sales cycles environment

Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, CRM (Zoho), business intelligence and basic finance.

Demonstrated success in implementing system-wide initiatives

Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Ability to influence and lead across functions and operate in a matrix environment

Ability to travel 60% or more to meet with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
