Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Coamo, Puerto Rico facility
Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control the supply chain processes and disciplines for the plant such as master scheduling, purchasing, customer service, inventory control, and logistics ensuring the execution in compliance to all company rules, policies, procedures, and programs in support of the established goals and objectives. Build organizational capability throughout the department. Lead and/or support any project or initiatives as required by business needs or as requested by upper management.
Provide leadership and manage functional areas of Purchasing, Inventory Control/Logistics, Customer Service/Planning ensuring continuous improvement.
Build Organizational Capabilities through development plans, mentoring, driving accountability, cross training, and succession planning.
Responsible for establishing and executing Profit Plan targets for Gross Inventory, DOH Profit Plan, Stock Fill Rate, On Time Performance, Supplier OTD, Supplier PPM, Freight Cost, DPO, Cost Out, Customer Lead-Time and other key metrics as required by site and divisional leadership.
Support the implementation of all pertinent elements of the Eaton Business System.
Responsible for managing and/or supporting supplier negotiations for direct & indirect material.
Establishing, managing and executing inventory strategy (Kanban, ROP, etc.).
Participate in development of plant strategic plans and align departmental goals.
Foster climate of collaboration and support among the team to facilitate and guide employees towards achieving company goals.
Establish and maintain procedures for department.
Ensure site adheres to Supply Chain Policies and Corporate procedures and programs.
Work in collaboration with Materials Manager from Dominican Republic plant to achieve goals and objectives
Calificaciones
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Education:College Degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Management or Materials Management; MBA preferred,
Experience:Ten (10) years’ experience in Materials Management within Manufacturing preferred.

Excellent Management Skills
Excellent Communication Skills- Spanish/ English
Strong problem-solving analytical skills
Knowledge within the three functional areas
Knowledge of ERP Systems
Experience with Lean Manufacturing
Supplier Negotiation skills
APICS certification a plus
