The System Analyst Specialist perform activities related to the Systems Life Cycle (SLC) of the AbbVie Operations Manufacturing & Quality systems. This includes MES recipe development, testing and validation protocols edits and execution. Integration of manufacturing recipes to ensure proper synchronization between systems such as MES, SAP, LIMS and DeltaV. Examine and evaluate Manufacturing & Quality Systems to ensure they are 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and in compliance with the Data Integrity policy. Provide support to implement Data Integrity remediation's and Risk Assessments (FMEA). Provides First Level support to Manufacturing & Quality Systems, including incident management, user access control and problem resolution. Support manufacturing applications and related information using existing tools and procedures. This includes Data Security, systems administration procedures like accounts management, recertification and data backup, restore to ensure security and data integrity compliance. Collect and review data, create and distribute various communications including Data Analytics Dashboards, Key performance indicators (KPIs), application documentation and status reports to keep management and users informed about system projects progress and plans. Additional responsibilities are: Participates as a technical team member in design, programming, testing of system projects and enhancements within a specific functional area. Provides day-to-day support including problem resolution and coordination of operational activity relative to job scheduling, etc. Researches & evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations for improved system operations, control or enhanced business function. Formulates logical statements of business requirements with some guidance; devises, tests and implements efficient cost effective application program solutions (e.g. codes and/or reuses existing code through the use of program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions). Devises data verification methods & standard system procedures, participates in systems testing, prepares program test data, tests and debugs programs. In specialized systems (ie. SAP) effectively set options to change the way the program works (configuration responsibilities). Independently conceives and develops general approaches to the solution of systems problems which require application of basic technical principles. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or related IT field. MS degree preferable. Minimum two to four (2-4) years of experience required. Experience with Manufacturing and Quality systems: MES, SAP, LIMS and Delta V Experience with Data Integrity, Data Analytics Dashboards, (KPIs). Strong communication in English and Spanish and strong leadership skills. Previous experience and knowledge in 21CFR Part II compliance.
