Technical Assistant - Insurance Claims

Full Time Opportunity General Description Investigate, analyze and refer the pending claims or incident reports to the insurance company and ensure that they are adequately processed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, register and report claims and incident reports to the insurance company Investigate, analyze and report claims and incidents to the insurance company. Review and complete tasks assigned in Image Right. Review and analyze insurance policies. Prepare Coverage Certifications. Send the Notice of Loss, Coverage Certification and other documents required by the insurance company or the agency. Register claims in AMS360. Keep track on claims in insurance companies. Update the status of claims in AMS360 consistently. Document in Image Right and update the assigned task to the claim consistently. Education Bachelor's Degree Experience At least two years of experience managing insurance claims Other Qualifications Analyze situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization. Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities. Excellent oral and written communication, both in English and Spanish. Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness. Advanced domain of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
