JOIN OUR TEAM A leading financial institution setting the pace through its commitment to corporate values and a superior client satisfaction, seeks a qualified candidate to join its POPULAR team of successful professionals in Puerto Rico for the following position:

Full Time Opportunity 13;
General Description 13;
Technical Assistant for Popular Insurance, Life Agency. Handles producers and clients of the Life Agency through the telephone or site visits. Processes paperwork and other tasks relating to life insurance applications, follow:ups and policies. Uses the agencys systems for data entry and quoting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 13;
:

Provide orientation to internal and external clients about life insurance products and services by phone or face to face, occasionally.
:

Handle requests from producers related to life insurance products and services.
:

Processes paperwork and other tasks relating to life insurance applications, follow:ups and policies.
:

Provide policies status to clients.
:

Handle with the insurance companies the services requested by producers or clients.
:

Collaborate with coworkers in campaigns and during times of high volume in order to meet standards of service.
:

Generate quotes using the Agencys systems and data entry.
:

Assists with special projects wherein the Life Agency participates.
:

Generate reports and process orders for payments.
:

Other duties may be assigned.

Education 13;

Bachelors Degree

Experience 13;
At least one (1) year of experience working with life, cancer and disability insurance processes.

Other Qualifications 13;
:

Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
:

Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
:

Ability to work as a team and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
:

Ability to achieve results in established time complying with quality standards.

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritized work.
:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
:
