Technical Manager - Mechanical

Be responsible for managing a team of Mechanical Engineers in terms of workload planning and scheduling and department budgeting, staffing, mentoring, and training. You will ensure that Honeywell products are perceived as the highest quality in their category, and continue to build brand awareness through effective engineering and design implementation. You will work closely with specialist functions, Manufacturing, Product Managers, Engineering Testing Labs, and vendors to ensure product development objectives and schedules are met. You will develop and implement effective strategies to optimize our ability to develop products with contract manufacturing partners when deemed appropriate. Be the leader for the team by establishing team direction, schedules, key objectives, and team plan Balance business needs, aggressive timelines, functional goals and more in the Product Development process Create and lead teams through design reviews Leadership Talent Management Team Development YOU MUST HAVE Bachelors Degree in Engineering WE VALUE Entrepreneurial experience in a fast paced environment Comfortable developing networks and building relationships Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Mechanical Engineering degree Flexible to work across cultures and time zones Minimum of 5 years of leading engineering teams Significant experience in Mechanical, Aerospaceor related field Understanding of Aerospace standards and security practices Ability to lead, motivate, develop and mentor others Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
