Technical Writer ($60,000+)

Job Type:Direct Hire (Full Time Employee w/ Benefits)

Compensation:$60,000 – 70,000
(based on experience)

Advisory Services and currently provides service from 13
locations across the
US and Puerto Rico. Their Government Services practice is at the
forefront of
disaster recovery efforts nationwide with one of the most
experienced and
innovative teams anywhere.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
4 + years of

experience in plan writing, grant writing, government
compliance reports,
etc.
Excellent

communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong people skills.
Excellent

organizational skills.
Proven experience

working independently to produce draft materials under tight
deadlines.
(Preferred)

Experienced in developing or creating a FEMA-approved Hazard
Mitigation
Plan
Capable of setting and

meeting deadlines
Ability to work well

in both independent and highly collaborative settings
Responsibilities

Must write coherent,

organized, and compelling reports
Collaborate with

others, including project managers and clients, to clarify
project
parameters
Manage multiple

writing projects
Must be adept at independent

research to support written deliverables
Must work under tight

deadlines to produce draft material, sometimes on a same-day
basis
Will support a team of

planners and grant management professionals in the delivery
of plan
narrative
