Technician

Descripción del Empleo:
Must install and integrate new machines or plant facility equipment and ensure their proper operation in compliance with established quality and manufacturing procedures. Must be able to upgrade existing equipment, as required. Must ensure proper equipment operation in compliance with quality and manufacturing procedures. Must repair and provide maintenance to manufacturing equipment using sophisticated testing equipment, specialized manuals and plant SOPs. Must support production lines to maintain machines and manufacturing equipment working in excellent conditions. Disassemble equipment or machinery, disconnect controls and remove defective parts so they may be repaired or substituted and perform preventive maintenance according to established standards. Must be able to work in the machine shop to fabricate parts. Must complete validation execution on new and existing machines.
Requisitos:
Associate Degree in Mechanics, Electronics or Tool & Die Maker. 6 months to 3 years of related work experience.
Must be available to work irregular hours and perform jobs in other plants or departments as needed. Must be able to travel when required. Can have exposure to noise and high temperatures in the work area. Must comply with plant safety procedures and good manufacturing practices. Must have basic knowledge of hand tools, precision tools, machine shop tools and mechanical equipment. Must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings. Must be able to work under pressure and comply with dead lines for projects, be a self-starter, and have good interpersonal skills. Able to read and understand English at a good comprehensive level.
